Pakuranga Rotary has been involved with Life Education since 2001 when the club provided seed
funding to re-establish Life Education in South East Auckland.

Life Education has been educating and empowering kids for over 30 years in New Zealand! Each year Life Education Counties Manukau fosters a space for over 38,000 children to learn and explore key issues around health and nutrition, the human body, puberty, how to be a good friend and good and bad substances.

We take children on a journey in unique mobile classrooms, equipped with high-tech 3G technology to create an extraordinary learning experience that they LOVE.

The Life Education messages are delivered in our multi-sensory mobile classrooms, with sessions designed to capture the students’ imagination and engage them in a variety of learning strategies.

We offer schools the following:

  • Experienced, registered teachers who undergo additional training for this specialist role
  • A flexible resource that supports teachers in curriculum delivery to students
  • A unique and engaging  learning environment
  • Up to date topical content and a programme that meets the individual needs of schools and students
  • Opportunities for parent meetings to engage the wider community in support of health initiatives
